License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement is between you and RH Consulting ("we"), the maker of RaceRigControl. By downloading, installing or using RaceRigControl you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install or use the software.

1. What you may do

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use RaceRigControl on computers you control, for personal or commercial sim-racing use (home rigs, venues, events), up to the number of rigs your registration or license allows. The software itself is free to download; some capabilities (such as additional rigs) may require registration or a paid license.

2. What you may not do

• Resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the software or your license.
• Circumvent license enforcement or registration.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where law expressly permits.
• Use the software to break the law or infringe others' rights.

3. Your data and content

Lap times, driver names, sessions and settings you record belong to you and stay on your machine. You are responsible for the data you collect from drivers at your rigs. What little we process (your registration email, license check-ins and aggregate usage counters) is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

4. Updates

The software can check for and, at your request, install updates of itself. Updates may change or remove features. You can decline updates, but old versions may stop working with our online services over time.

5. Ownership

RaceRigControl is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights, title and interest in the software. SimHub is a separate product with its own terms; RaceRigControl requires it but is not affiliated with it.

6. Termination

This license ends automatically if you materially breach it. On termination, stop using the software and delete your copies. You can end it any time by uninstalling. Sections 7-9 survive termination.

7. No warranty

RaceRigControl is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Statutory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded (for business use, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply where the software is used in trade) remain unaffected where they mandatorily apply.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or business, arising from the software or these terms. For the free version, our total aggregate liability is zero ($0.00) dollars. For paid versions, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, up to a maximum of 3 months' subscription fees.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms for future versions; the version that accompanied your download applies to that copy. Questions: hello@racerigcontrol.com.
